Event Description
The Avalanche Open is one of Paragon Circuit’s flagship pickleball tournaments, built for players who want to be tested. Fast paced matches, live standings, and a format that rewards the teams who can execute consistently under pressure.
You’ll start with a full round robin, playing every team to build your record and lock in your seed. Then it’s straight into a single-elimination bracket, where there’s no room for off games and every rally matters. Divisions include Men’s Doubles (Champion) and Mixed Doubles (Challenger).
Men’s Doubles competes for the Avalanche Open Trophy, with $500 cash prizes on the line in both Men’s and Mixed Doubles. Custom medals go to podium finishers in every division, and every player is automatically entered into our raffle giveaways.
Event Rules
- Round Robin determines seeding. Then a single-elimination bracket decides champions.
- Matches are first to 11 win by 2. Playoff matches are best 2 out of 3.
- All participants must check in 30 minutes before their scheduled competition time.
- Matches follow USA Pickleball rules unless an event specific rule is announced on site.
